Downloadable Audiobooks

Audiobooks are growing more popular, according to the Wall Street Journal, especially with people who feel they don’t have time to read. People with smartphones and tablets find it easy to download a book to listen to while doing other things. Did you know Spokane Public Library has a free source of downloadable audiobooks through our OneClick Digital service? You’ll need to set up an account the first time you use it, but once that’s done, it’s easy to download the app (look for OneClickDigital – no spaces). Browse for subjects, get on the waiting list for popular titles, and even download foreign language learning lessons. Downloads expire after three weeks, but you can renew them if there are no holds on the titles.
